LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), June 20 (SeeNews) – Slovenia’s consumer confidence indicator rose by 2 percentage points (p.p.) on a monthly comparison basis in June, after remaining unchanged in May, the country's statistical office said on Thursday.
Among its components, expectations about savings and households’ finances improved (by 5 p.p. and 2 p.p., respectively). Consumers’ expectations about Slovenia’s economy and about the number of unemployed also improved (by 1 p.p. each), the statistical office said in a monthly consumer survey.
On an annual comparison basis, the value of the consumer confidence indicator was 6 p.p. lower in June. Among its components, the expectations about the country’s economy and the number of unemployed worsened the most - by 11 p.p. and 8 p.p., respectively.
Expectations about household finances also decreased by 3 p.p. year-on-year in June, whereas the expectations about savings improved by 2 p.p.
