LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), February 18 (SeeNews) – Slovenia’s consumer confidence indicator improved by a monthly 8 percentage point (pp) in February, after rising by 1 pp in the preceding month, the country's statistical office said on Thursday.
In annual terms, consumer confidence was down by 8 pps in February, the statistical office said in a statement.
All four components of the consumer sentiment indicator deteriorated at the annual level, with the expectations about current households’ finances by 10 pps, expectations for major purchases by 8 pps, and expectations about the country’s economy by 7 pps.
At the same time, consumers’ expectations about the country’s economy and for major purchases increased by 17 pps and 6 pps on the month, respectively.
