June 22 (SeeNews) - Slovenia’s consumer confidence indicator rose by 3 percentage points on a monthly basis in June, after dropping by 1 percentage point in May, the country's statistical office said on Thursday.
The value of the indicator was the same as the value recorded in January 2017 - the highest in the entire observation period.
Its increasedwas influenced by more optimistic expectations of consumers about the unemployment level (up by 4 p.p.), expectations about saving, households’ finances and the country’s economy (up by 2 p.p. each).
The value of the consumer confidence indicator improved by 13 p.p. compared to June 2016, and was 11 p.p. above last year’s average.
All four component indicators had a positive impact on the annual change of the confidence indicator. Expectations about the unemployment level improved by 18 p.p., about the country’s economy by 16 p.p., about saving by 9 p.p. and about households’ finances by 9 p.p.
