December 30 (SeeNews) - Slovenia's consolidated budget turned to a 2.596 billion euro ($3.187 billion) deficit in January-November, from a surplus of 346.2 million euro in the like period of last year, the finance ministry said on Wednesday.
Consolidated budget revenue fell by an annual 3.0% to 16.886 billion euro in the first eleven months of the year, with a 3.9% drop in tax revenue to 15.0 billion euro, the finance ministry said in a statement.
Total consolidated expenditures increased by 14.1% to 19.482 billion euro.
In November alone, the consolidated budget deficit stood at 228.9 million euro versus 15.5 million euro deficit a year earlier.
The general government budget turned to a 2.629 billion euro deficit in January-November, from a 304.9 million euro surplus a year earlier.
Total revenues of the general government budget fell by an annual 9.0% to 8.348 billion euro in the first eleven months of 2020, with tax revenues plunging 11.8% to 6.997 billion euro.
Total expenditures rose 23.8% on the year to 10.977 billion euro in the period under review.
