LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), April 8 (SeeNews) – Slovenian chemicals producer Cinkarna Celje [LJE:CICG] plans to distribute a gross dividend of 11.0 euro ($13.0) per share from its 2020 earnings, down from 17.0 euro paid last year, it said on Thursday.
The company's shareholders have decided to allocate to dividend payment 8.6 million euro, versus 13.5 million euro in 2020, Cinkarna Celje said in a filing with the Ljubljana Stock Exchange.
The remainder of the accumulated profit will be retained, Cinkarna Celje said.
In March, Cinkarna Celje said its net profit fell 12% in 2020 to 19 million euro. The result was 34% higher than the planned net profit for the period under review.
Cinkarna Celje sees its net profit declining to 10.6 million euro in 2021.
