LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), September 4 (SeeNews) – Slovenian chemicals producer Cinkarna Celje [LJE:CICG] recorded the sharpest losses among the blue-chip companies on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange on Wednesday, dragging down the benchmark SBITOP index, bourse data showed.
Cinkarna Celje's shares closed 1.57% lower at 187.5 euro.
Shares of Telekom Slovenije [LJE:TLSG] recorded the biggest gains among Slovenia's blue-chip companies. The company's shares closed at 63.6 euro, up 0.95%.
The blue-chip SBITOP index, which tracks the most liquid and capitalised stocks on the LJSE, ended Wednesday's session 0.20% lower at 850.33 points.
Pharmaceuticals producer Krka [LJE:KRKG] generated the largest portion, of 1.0 million euro, of LJSE's trading turnover on Wednesday.
The bourse's total turnover rose to 1.56 million euro ($1.7 million) from 930,400 euro on Tuesday.
