February 11 (SeeNews) - Slovenian chemicals producer Cinkarna Celje [LJE:CICG] said it has bought back 752 of its own shares for a total of 143,817 euro ($157,000).
Thus, Cinkarna Celje has increased its own shares to 1.4507% of the issued share capital from 1.3576%, the company said in a filing with the Ljubljana Stock Exchange on Monday.
The company bought the shares at 191.25 euro apiece on February 3, it said.
As of February 10, Cinkarna Celje held 11,721 own shares.
The decision for the share buyback programme was approved by the general shareholders' meeting of Cinkarna Celje on June 4.
The company's shares traded at 194 euro on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange by 10:20 CET on Tuesday, down from Monday's close of 196.5 euro.
