September 1 (SeeNews) - Slovenian chemicals producer Cinkarna Celje [LJE:CICG] said on Wednesday its net profit rose 60% on the year to 15.8 million euro ($18.6 million) in the first half of 2021.
The company's net sales revenue rose 12% on the year to 99.4 million euro in January-June and earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) grew 50% to 26.6 million euro, Cinkarna Celje said in an interim financial report.
Expenses increased by 1% to 78.3 million euro, it added.
Cinkarna Celje was established in 1873. Its core business is production and marketing of titanium dioxide pigment.
Its shares traded at 247 euro, down 0.40%, by 1507 CET on Wednesday on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange.
