November 30 (SeeNews) - Slovenian chemicals producer Cinkarna Celje [LJE:CICG] has booked a net profit of 39.5 million euro ($41 million) in the first nine months of 2022, up from 26.2 million euro last year, it said.
The company's turnover rose 29.2% on the year to 188.6 million euro in January-September and earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) grew 39.2% to 58.6 million euro, Cinkarna Celje said in an interim unaudited financial report on Tuesday.
Return on equity (ROE) grew to 20.03% from 14.63%, whereas return on assets (ROA) went up to 15.77% from 12.02%, Cinkarna Celje added.
Cinkarna Celje was established in 1873. Its core business is production and marketing of titanium dioxide pigment.
Its shares closed at 27.40 euro, up 1.48%, on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange on Tuesday.
