June 2 (SeeNews) - Slovenia's association of small shareholders requested the payment of a gross dividend of 29.50 euro ($31.65) per share by document printing company Cetis [LJSE:CETG] this year, the document printing company said on Friday.
The association submitted a counter-proposal on the agenda of the general shareholders' meeting of Cetis, to be held on June 28, in which it requests a 5.9 million euro gross dividend payout, the company said in a filing with the Ljubljana Stock Exchange.
According to the proposal, a total of 4.7 million euro of accumulated profit would be retained by the company, Cetis said.
Last month, Cetis proposed to its shareholders to retain the 10.6 million euro accumulated profit and skip the payment of dividend this year.
Cetis recorded a consolidated net profit of 19.0 million euro in 2022, up 52.2% from 7.2 million euro in the previous year.
The company is active in security and commercial printing, including the printing of ID documents, lottery tickets and cards as well as in packaging and labels. It is part of MSIN Group which employs more than 1,200 people in its companies.
