LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), August 20 (SeeNews) – The number of building permits issued in Slovenia in July rose 24% month-on-month to 549, the office of national statistics said on Tuesday.
A total of 213 permits were issued for residential projects in July, up 25% compared to June, while 336 permits were issued for non-residential buildings, up 23%, the statistical office said in a statement.
The floor area of the buildings for which permits were issued in July totalled 130,050 sq m, up 58% compared to June.
The construction of 283 dwellings was planned in the permits issued in July, up 58%.
