November 23 (SeeNews) - The number of building permits issued in Slovenia in October decreased by 31.6% month-on-month to 628, the office of national statistics said.
A total of 285 permits were issued for residential projects in October, down from September's 428, and 343 permits were issued for non-residential buildings, down from September's 490, the statistical office said in a statement last week.
The floor area of the buildings for which permits were issued in October stood at some 181,574 sq m, down from 255,397 sq m a month earlier, the statement read.
The construction of 413 new dwellings was planned in the permits issued in October, down from 642 in September.
