July 20 (SeeNews) - The number of building permits issued in Slovenia in June decreased by 3% month-on-month to 481, the office of national statistics said on Monday.
A total of 236 permits were issued for residential projects in June, up from May's 204, and 245 permits were issued for non-residential buildings, down from May's 288, the statistical office said in a statement.
The floor area of the buildings for which permits were issued in June stood at 134,633 sq m, down from 164,719 sq m a month earlier, the statement read.
The construction of 403 new dwellings was planned in the permits issued in June, up from 232 in May.
