LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), March 20 (SeeNews) – The number of building permits issued in Slovenia in February fell 37% month-on-month to 364, the office of national statistics said on Friday.
A total of 141 permits were issued for residential projects in February, down 37% compared to January, while 223 permits were issued for non-residential buildings, also down 37%, the statistical office said in a statement.
The floor area of the buildings for which permits were issued in February totalled 100,901 sq m, down 27% compared to January.
The construction of 236 dwellings was planned in the permits issued in February, down 33%.
