May 19 (SeeNews) - The number of building permits issued in Slovenia in April rose 36% month-on-month to 338, after growing 54.4% in March, the office of national statistics said on Friday.
A total of 136 permits were issued for residential projects in April, down 44% on the month, while 292 permits were issued for non-residential buildings, a decline of 29%, the statistical office said in a statement.
The total floor area of buildings for which permits were issued in April, was 124,630 sq m, down 35% in comparison with March.
The construction of 292 dwellings was planned, down 36%.
