May 22 (SeeNews) - The Slovenian unit of Italian lender Intesa Sanpaolo, Banka Intesa Sanpaolo, said on Friday it plans to skip the payment of dividend this year.
The 22.6 million euro ($24.6 million) profit available for distribution from the 2019 net profit is proposed to be allocated to other reserves, the Slovenian bank said in a statement with the Ljubljana bourse.
Its shareholders will vote on the proposal at their general annual meeting on June 23, the statement read.
Last year, the bank allocated for dividend its complete 10.2 million euro profit available for distribution from the financial year 2018, paying a gross dividend of 19.19 euro per share.
