December 6 (SeeNews) - Slovenia's Adria Airways said on Wednesday it has transported one million passengers year-to-date, up 10% on the year.
Adria Airways welcomed its 1 millionth passenger on Tuesday morning, the airline said in an emailed response to a SeeNews inquiry.
The increase in passenger traffic is mostly owed to a boost in weekly services and a significantly shorter waiting time on connecting flights, the airline explained.
Earlier this month, Adria said it is set to add seven routes from Ljubljana starting March 25, 2018, boosting the number of destinations to 23.
Adria will continue flights to Kiev, while at the same time connecting Slovenia to six new European destinations - Hamburg, Geneva, Bucharest, Sofia, Dubrovnik and Brac.
