August 14 (SeeNews) - The number of passengers carried by Slovenia's Adria Airways in June rose 14% year-on-year to 124,400, the national statistical agency announced on Tuesday.
Adria travelled 126.7 million passenger-kilometres with its planes in June, up by 19% year-on-year, the agency said in a monthly transport sector report.
In June 2018, almost 18,000 passengers were recorded in Slovenian ports, which is 17% more than in June 2017. Most of them were cruise passengers.
In the Port of Koper almost 1.8 million tonnes of goods were handled in June, 9% more than in the same month last year.
Also in June, almost 13,900 road motor vehicles were registered for the first time in Slovenia. Almost 10,500 were passenger cars registered for the first time, which is 2% more year-on-year.
