September 14 (SeeNews) - The number of passengers carried by Slovenia's Adria Airways fell 3% year-on-year in July to 138,200, the national statistical agency announced on Friday.
Adria travelled 148.6 million passenger-kilometres with its planes in July, unchanged year-on-year, the agency said in a monthly transport sector report.
In July 2018, more than 17,300 passengers were recorded in Slovenian ports, which is 18% fewer than in July last year. Most of them were cruise passengers.
In the Port of Koper almost 2 million tonnes of goods were handled in July, 11% more on the year.
Also in July, almost 12,700 road motor vehicles were registered for the first time in Slovenia. Almost 9,500 were passenger cars registered for the first time, which is 22% more than in July 2017.
