March 15 (SeeNews) - The number of passengers carried by Slovenia's Adria Airways in January dropped 13.0% on the year to 72,800, the national statistical agency announced on Wednesday.
The planes of Slovenia's flag carrier travelled 69 million passenger-kilometres in January, down 15% year-on-year, the agency said in a monthly transport sector report.
Passenger traffic at Ljubljana airport jumped 22% on the year in January to 89,400.
In terms of passenger traffic at Slovenia's seaports, only 78 passengers were recorded at the port of Koper in January, up 50% on the year. The port processed 1.8 million tonnes of goods, down 8.1% compared to January last year.
