LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), April 11 (SeeNews) – Slovenia’s Abanka Vipa [LJE:ABKN] said on Thursday its shareholders decided to cut its capital to 7.2 million euro ($9.4 million) from 30.045 million euro to cover last year losses, and then to launch a new capital hike of up to 90.1 million euro.
The share capital will be reduced by 22.84 million euro through a simplified procedure, Abanka Vipa said in a statement sent to the Ljubljana Stock Exchange.
The number of the bank's no-par value shares remains unchanged - 7,200,000.
At the same time, the shareholders adopted a proposal for an increase of the bank's share capital through cash contributions of at least 9.009 million euro to at most 90.1 million euro.
Following the increase, the bank’s capital will amount to at least 16.2 million euro and 97.3 million euro at most. The sale price of the newly issued freely convertible no-par-value shares is set at 1.0 euro at least and 9.99 euro at most per share.
