October 24 (SeeNews) - Slovenia's Abanka Vipa [LJE:ABKN] said its net loss narrowed to 27.3 million euro ($37.4 million) in the first nine months of 2013 from 38.1 million euro a year ago.
Abanka Vipa's net interest income decreased to 46.1 million euro in the nine months through September from 52.4 million euro a year ago, while net non-interest income fell to 17.4 million euro from 27.7 million euro, the lender said in a statement posted on the website of the Ljubljana bourse on Wednesday.
Impairments and provisions totalled 56.4 million euro in the period under review.
Total assets stood at 3.57 billion euro at the end of September, down by 0.8% from the end of 2012.
