January 18 (SeeNews) - New passenger car registrations in Slovenia fell by 14.2% on the year in 2022, to 46,339, the European Automobile Manufacturers Association (ACEA) said on Wednesday, quoting provisional figures.
In December alone, new passenger car registrations in Slovenia dipped by 0.7% on the year to 2,525, ACEA said in a statement.
New passenger car registrations in the EU, excluding Malta, declined 4.6% year-on-year to 9.26 million last year.
In EU12, which encompasses member states that have joined the EU since 2004, registrations were 4.2% lower on the year at 1.1 million in 2022.
New passenger car registrations in Slovenia rose by a marginal 0.6% in 2021, to 53,988, following a 27% drop in 2020.
