LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), December 14 (SeeNews) – Slovenia's current account surplus increased to 2.5 billion euro ($2.7 billion) in the first ten months of 2016, from 1.8 billion euro in the same period last year, central bank data showed on Wednesday.
In October alone, Slovenia's current account balance recorded a 308.5 million euro surplus, up 39.9% on the year.
Slovenia's trade surplus increased to 1.5 billion euro in January-October 2016 from 1.3 billion euro in the same period last year, as exports rose 3.4% to 20.7 billion euro and imports grew 2.8% to 19.2 billion euro.

Slovenia's latest available full-year current account data for 2015 shows a surplus of 2.8 billion euro, up 8.5% from 2014.
