January 24 (SeeNews) - The two stock indices on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) dropped on Monday as none of the blue-chip companies saw its share price go up, bourse data showed.
The blue-chip SBITOP index fell 2.23% to 1,298.01 points, while the SBITOP TR index, which also tracks dividend distribution, lost 2.21%, ending at 1,524.28 points, LJSE data showed.
Port operator Luka Koper [LJE:LKPG] and reinsurer Pozavarovalnica Sava [LJE:POSR] lost the most, falling 3.05% and 3.03%, respectively. Luka Koper's shares closed at 25.40 euro, while Sava's stock ended the session at 28.80 euro.
The bourse's daily trading turnover came in at 3.1 million euro ($3.5 million) on Monday, compared with 1.87 million euro generated on Friday.
Lender Nova Ljubljanska Banka (NLB) [LJE:NLBR] was the most traded company on the bourse on Monday, generating a turnover of 630,800 euro. Its shares fell 1.49% to 79.60 euro.
