LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), February 26 (SeeNews) - Slovenian steel producer Slovenska Industrija Jekla (SIJ) said on Friday it has acquired a further 26.09% of local poultry producer Perutnina Ptuj following the successful completion of a tender offer launched in December.

In December, SIJ announced it intends to launch a takeover bid for the remaining shares of Perutnina Ptuj after recapitalising the company with 40 million euro ($44 million).
