March 2 (SeeNews) - Slovenian startup Eurosender, a digital platform for booking logistics services in Europe, has opened new offices in Ljubljana which will see it boost its employee count, the president of the country said.
Eurosender's expansion in Slovenia is in line with the company's aim to become the leading provider of logistic services in the world, the office of president Borut Pahor said in a statement, following the official launch of the offices on Thursday.
Late last year, POST Luxembourg acquired a stake in Eurosender.
Close cooperation with Eurosender, active in 31 countries in Europe, will facilitate access to new markets, territories, services and customers, the company said in December.
Eurosender was founded in 2014 in London, with operations in Slovenia. The company has developed rapidly since its launch with revenue increasing 200% in 2017.
