September 30 (SeeNews) - Slovenian share indices on Wednesday built on their fragile rally form the previous session as turnover fell, data of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) showed.
The blue-chip SBITOP index was up 0.72% to 1,058.21 points and the broader SBI20 index added 0.65% to 4,301.33 points.
On Tuesday, the SBITOP edged up 0.22% and the SBI20 rose 0.18%.
Seven of the eight SBITOP components closed higher on Wednesday, with telco Telekom Slovenije as the only back-slider, ending 0.56% lower at an average price of 150.19 euro ($219).
Slovenian brewer Pivovarna Lasko led the gainers, closing up 2.97% at 28.45 euro, 2.97%.
Drug maker Krka, a SBITOP heavyweight, was the most liquid company on Wednesday as 18,015 of its shares changed hands, ending 0.28% higher at an average price of 72.03 euro.
LJSE's total turnover fell to 4.7 million euro from Tuesday’s 5.0 million euro.
