LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), August 1 (SeeNews) – Slovenian retailer Mercator [LJE:MELR] said on Thursday it has issued commercial papers totalling 6.55 million euro ($8.7 million).
After the completion of the first round of offers on July 31, Mercator issued commercial papers maturing on December 20, 2013 that bear an interest rate of 4.92% per year, the retailer said in a bourse filing.
The total issue consist of 6,552 bonds with a nominal value of 1,000 euro each and was paid up by 27 investors.
After the completion of the first round of gathering offers for commercial papers Mercator said it will apply for the admission of the commercial papers to trading on the regulated market of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange.
