May 3 (SeeNews) - Slovenian resort operator Terme Catez said the number of overnights which tourists spent at its accommodation facilities rose to a record-high 709,004 in 2017, up 1.5% on the year.
Locals accounted for a total of 336,086 overnights, down 0.9% on the year, Terme Catez said in a bourse filing earlier this week.
Tourists from Italy followed with 80,888 overnights, up 5.9%, while those form the Netherlands spent 53,927 overnights in Terme Catez in 2017, up 26.7%.
In Slovenia, Terme Catez has facilities in Catez, Mokrice and Koper.
In the review period, the number of visitors to its swimming facilities increased 2.3% on the year to 941,210.
Terme Catez's non-consolidated sales revenue in 2017 reached 28.15 million euro ($33.8 million), slightly down from 28.30 million euro a year earlier. Its net profit dropped to 1.9 million euro, from 2.5 million euro in 2016.
