March 2 (SeeNews) - The securities commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina's Serb Republic said it has approved Stanko Galic, based in Slovenia, to acquire Bosnia and Herzegovina's investment fund management company Polar Invest.
The proposed transaction will not have a negative impact on the company's operations, the securities commission of the Serb Republic said earlier this week.

Slovenia's investment fund manager Celep is the largest shareholder of Polar Invest with a 20.95% stake, according to the Bosnian company's 2022 financial statement. The remaining shareholding interest is equally split between eight other shareholders, each of whom own a 9.88% stake in the company.
Polar Invest's net profit decreased to 97,530 marka ($53,008/49,866 euro) in 2022 from 143,813 marka in 2021.
The Serb Republic is one of two autonomous entities which form Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Federation.
