LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), November 19 (SeeNews) – Slovenian pharmaceuticals producer Krka [LJE:KRKG] said on Thursday its consolidated net profit rose 22% year-on-year to 210.1 million euro ($248.5 million) in the first nine months of 2020.
Krka's consolidated sales increased 6% on the year to 1.16 billion euro in the nine months through September, the company said in a filing with the Ljubljana Stock Exchange.
Krka's consolidated EBITDA amounted to 384.6 million euro in the first nine months, up 40% year-on-year.
The Krka Group allocated 53.8 million euro to investments in January-September, of which 39.9 million euro to the controlling company.
The group employed 11,503 people at the end of September, down from 11,696 at the end of 2019.
Krka's shares traded at 85.0 euro by 10:37 CET on Thursday on the Ljubljana bourse, up from 82.40 euro at Wednesday's close.
