The value of the deal was not disclosed.
In March, news daily Delo reported that with the acquisition A1 Slovenija plans to strengthen its position in Slovenia's southwestern region of Inner Carniola, where Studio Proteus is active.
A1 Slovenija is the second largest mobile operator in the small Adriatic state, tracking behind Mobitel, a unit of state-owned Telekom Slovenije. It also competes with smaller peers such as United Group's Telemach (former Tusmobil), T-2, and HOT Mobil (Hofer), among others.
Studio Proteus, based in Postojna, provides TV, internet, mobile and fixed telephony services.
