February 5 (SeeNews) - The blue-chip index of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) lost ground on Tuesday, as overall daily turnover fell, bourse data indicated.
The SBITOP dropped 1.17% to 649.37 points after rising 0.89% on Monday.
Five of the seven blue chips of the LJSE closed lower on Monday and two rose.
Insurer Zavarovalnica Triglav [LJE:ZVTG] led the blue-chip decliners, falling 1.79% to 16.5 euro ($22).
Nova Kreditna Banka Maribor [LJE:KBMR] was the most traded blue chip with 30,586 shares changing hands. The stock led the blue-chip gainers, adding 5.2% to 1.315 euro.
Total turnover on the LJSE fell to 965,750 euro from 1.9 million euro on Monday.
