LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), January 17 (SeeNews) – The net profit of Slovenian banks increased 15.2% year-on-year in the first 11 months of 2018, reaching 456.8 million euro ($520.8 million), the country's central bank said on Thursday.
The banks' net interest income rose 3.3% to 610.0 million euro in the period under review, while their net fee and commission income added 0.5% to 289.4 million euro, Bank of Slovenia said in a monthly report on the performance of the banking sector.
The total gross revenue of banks in Slovenia increased 5.5% to 1,043 million euro in January-November, while operating costs dropped 0.7% to 597.1 million euro.
The banks' total assets increased to 38,508 million euro as at end-November, from 37,946 million euro at the end of 2017.
