May 16 (SeeNews) - Slovenia registered the second-highest monthly industrial output growth in the EU and highest among EU member states in Southeast Europe (SEE) in March, at 2.3%, Eurostat said.
On an annual comparison basis, Slovenia's industrial output fell by 5.5% in the review month, against an average EU decline of 1.3%, the bloc's statistical office said in a monthly report on Monday.
Bulgaria posted the largest annual drop in industrial output among EU states in SEE, at 9%, along with the biggest monthly decrease in the region, at 1.3%.
Elsewhere in SEE, Greece was the only other country whose industrial output slipped month-on-month, by 0.5%. In the EU overall, industrial output decreased by a monthly 3.6% in March.
