September 20 (SeeNews) - Slovenia recorded the EU's highest annual growth in construction output in July, at 17.6%, followed by Romania with 15.8%, the bloc's statistical office said on Wednesday.
On a monthly comparison basis, Slovenia posted the biggest decline in construction output in the EU and among EU member states in Southeast Europe (SEE), for which data is available, at 6.5%, Eurostat said in a data release.
Elsewhere in SEE, Romania's construction output grew by 1.5% month-on-month, while Bulgaria's remained unchanged from June.
In the EU overall, construction output added 0.9% on the year and climbed by 0.7% in monthly terms in July.
