LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), March 12 (SeeNews) – Slovenia recorded a trade surplus of 120.9 million euro ($135.9 million) in January, as compared to 36.7 million euro in January 2018, the country's statistical office said on Tuesday.
Exports rose 13.7% to 2.7 billion euro, while imports increased 8.7% to 2.6 billion euro in January, the statistical office, SURS, said in a statement.
The European Union was Slovenia’s main trading partner in January, absorbing 2.05 billion euro of the country's exports and providing 1.9 billion euro of its imports.
