November 9 (SeeNews) - The volume of retail trade in Slovenia grew by 17.1% on the year in September, the highest rate of increase among all EU member states, Eurostat said.
On a monthly comparison basis, Slovenia's retail trade volume rose 1.9% in September, marking the biggest increase among EU member states in Southeast Europe (SEE), the EU's statistical office said in a statement on Friday.
Elsewhere in SEE, Croatia also posted double-digit growth of its retail trade volume on an annual comparison basis, of 14.2%. At the same time, Croatia was the only EU member state in SEE to post a decrease retail trade volume, of 0.2%.
