SOFIA (Bulgaria), April 13 (SeeNews) - Slovenia and Croatia posted the sharpest increase in housing prices among EU members in the last quarter of 2017, compared to the previous quarter of the same year, the EU's statistics office said.
House prices in Slovenia increased by 3.7% inthe October-December period, while Croatian house prices grew by 3.2 in the period under review compared to the previous quarter, Eurostat data published earlier this week shows.
In Bulgaria houses appreciated by 1.6% quarter-on-quarter, while in Romania house prices added 1.2% in the period under review.
Thse figures compare to an EU average of 0.7%.
