March 27 (SeeNews) - A sixth person has died from the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Slovenia, as the number of infected rose to 632 by Friday morning, up by 70 from a day earlier, the government in Ljubljana said.
The latest count is based on the test results of 18,369 people, the government said on the website it has created for monitoring the coronavirus spread in the country.
A total of 90 people were hospitalised, with 22 of them being under intensive care.
Health minister Tomaz Gantar warned last week that the number of people infected by the coronavirus in the country is probably five times the officially confirmed cases.
The first confirmed coronavirus case in Slovenia was reported on March 4.
