SKOPJE (Macedonia), November 10 (SeeNews) – The second stage of the upgrade of Skopje's Philip II Arena stadium will be completed by the end of March next year at an investment cost of some 3.5 million euro ($4.8 million), local media reported on Thursday.
After the upgrade, the football field and track lanes will comply with international sports venue standards, daily Vecer (www.vecer.com.mk) reported, quoting Cvetko Grozdanov, director general at the state-run company for the construction and management of housing and commercial space.
The third stage of the reconstruction, estimated to cost 8.0 million euro, will start at the end of 2012 or in early 2013 at the latest.
