May 17 (SeeNews) - Passenger numbers at North Macedonia’s international airports in Skopje and Ohrid reached 521,845 in the first four months of the year, up 154.5% compared with the same period of last year, Aeroports de Paris (ADP) said.
In April alone, passenger numbers increased to 172,662, up by 122,812 from April 2021, while in the 12 months through April, passenger traffic rose 207.3% to 1.7 million, ADP said in a statement on Monday.
ADP owns 46% of Turkey’s TAV Airports, the company operating the airports in Skopje and Ohrid.
Aircraft movements at the two airports reached 4,452 in January-April, up 51.3% compared to the first four months of 2021.
In April alone, there were 1,444 aircraft operations at the two airports, 618 more than in April of last year.
In the 12 months through April, aircraft movements rose 105.2% year-on-year to 16,498.
