August 4 (SeeNews) - The Macedonian Stock Exchange (MSE) main index, the MBI10, fell 4.67% month-on-month in July, to 5,880.20, while total trading turnover rose, the bourse said on Thursday.
Turnover totalled 430.5 million denars ($7.112 million/6.981 million euro) in July, up 0.97% month-on-month, while turnover on the bourse's electronic system of trading (BEST) decreased by 39.60% to 205.1 million denars, the MSE said in a statement.
The number of transactions went down 29.84% month-on-month to 910 in July.
The MSE's market capitalisation totalled 217.8 billion denars at the end of July, down 0.61% month-on-month but 7.4% higher on an annual comparison basis.
The MBI10 stood at 5,423.14 points at the end of July 2021.
In July 2021, trading turnover on the MSE totalled 1.1 billion denars, earlier bourse data showed.
