January 5 (SeeNews) - The blue-chip MBI-10 index of the stock exchange in Skopje closed at 6,206.24 points on Wednesday, this week's last trading day, up about 1% compared with its closing value of 6,153.48 points on December 30, bourse data showed.
The bourse was closed on December 31 and will be closed on January 6 and January 7 for Orthodox Christmas.
Turnover on the official market of the Macedonian Stock Exchange (MSE) fell to 76.8 million denars ($1.4 million/1.2 million euro) in three trading sessions this week, compared with 103.7 million denars in four trading sessions last week.
Komercijalna Banka [MSE:KMB] contributed the largest single portion of the trading turnover on the MSE this week, of 36.98 million denars, as 3,090 of the lender's shares changed hands in a total of 103 transactions.
The MSE's OMB bond index closed at 133.62 points, unchanged compared with its closing value on December 30.
