January 21 (SeeNews) - The blue-chip MBI-10 index of the stock exchange in Skopje closed at 6,333.05 points on Friday, up about 0.5% compared with its closing value of 6,301.12 points on January 14, bourse data showed.
Turnover on the official market of the Macedonian Stock Exchange (MSE) rose to 176.1 million denars ($3.2 million/2.8 million euro) in four trading sessions this week, compared with 143.7 million denars in five trading sessions last week.
The bourse was closed on January 19 for the Epiphany holiday.
Komercijalna Banka [MSE:KMB] contributed the largest single portion of the trading turnover on the MSE this week, of 78.1 million denars, as 6,224 of the lender's shares changed hands in a total of 234 transactions.
The MSE's OMB bond index closed at 133.62 points, unchanged compared with its closing value on January 14.
