SKOPJE (North Macedonia), February 28 (SeeNews) – The blue-chip MBI-10 index of the stock exchange in Skopje closed at 4,673.54 points on Friday, down by 6.5% compared to its closing value a week earlier, bourse data showed.
Turnover on the official market of the Macedonian Stock Exchange (MSE) rose to 325.8 million denars ($5.7 million/5.2 million euro) this week from 95.0 million denars last week.
Drug maker Alkaloid [MSE:ALK] contributed the largest single portion of trading turnover on the MSE this week – 105.3 million denars, as 8,374 of the company's shares changed hands in 261 transactions.
MSE's OMB bond index closed at 132.82 points on Friday, little changed from 132.91 a week earlier.
