June 17 (SeeNews) - The blue-chip MBI-10 index of the stock exchange in Skopje closed at 5,850.89 points on Friday, down 2.4% compared with its closing value of 5,993.30 points on June 9, the last trading day of the previous week, bourse data showed.
Turnover on the official market of the Macedonian Stock Exchange (MSE) rose to 115.3 million denars ($1.94 million/1.85 million euro) in five trading sessions this week, compared with 54 million denars in four trading sessions last week.
The bourse was closed on June 10 due to a public holiday.
Lender Komercijalna Banka [MSE:KMB] contributed the largest single portion of the trading turnover on the MSE this week, of 38.5 million denars, as 3,278 of the bank's shares changed hands in a total of 148 transactions.
The MSE's OMB bond index closed at 126.91 points, down from its closing value of 127.25 points on June 9.
