September 17 (SeeNews) - The blue-chip MBI-10 index of the stock exchange in Skopje closed at 5,721.66 points on Friday, down 2.3% compared with its closing value of 5,853.38 points on September 10, bourse data showed.
Turnover on the official market of the Macedonian Stock Exchange (MSE) rose to 150.6 million denars ($2.9 million/2.4 million euro) in five trading sessions this week from 86.7 million denars in four trading sessions last week.
The bourse was closed on September 8 due to a national holiday.
Komercijalna Banka [MSE:KMB] contributed the largest single portion of the trading turnover on the MSE this week, of 41.2 million denars, as 3,899 of the lender's shares changed hands in a total of 207 transactions.
The MSE's OMB bond index closed at 133.81 points, up compared with the closing value of 133.68 points on September 10.
