SKOPJE (North Macedonia), May 10 (SeeNews) – The blue-chip MBI-10 index of the Macedonian Stock Exchange (MSE) closed at 3,703.11 points on Friday, a 2.1% increase on the value recorded a week earlier.
Turnover on MSE's official market rose to 89.8 million denars ($1.6 million/1.4 million euro) in five sessions this week from 24.5 million denars in three sessions last week, bourse data showed.
The Skopje bourse was closed on Monday (April 29) for Orthodox Easter and on Wednesday (May 1) for the International Labour Day.
Construction company Granit [MSE:GRNT] contributed the largest share of trading turnover on the MSE this week, of 20.9 million denars, as 24,863 of the bank's shares changed hands in 65 transactions.
MSE's OMB bond index closed at 132.04 points on Friday, down from 131.96 points a week earlier.
